Many use Artificial Intelligence daily without noticing. It powers Google Search. We bump into it when flipping through recommendations on Netflix, Youtube, and Amazon. More noticeably, we use virtual assistants like Siri and Alexa. Generative AI has captured our imaginations. You can churn out fanciful images, videos, and essays with a few keywords.

AI is developing quickly and has many implications for learning. Today's instructional designers have the challenge of keeping up with these changes and identifying best uses for them.​ ​ ​​​​
